It’s that time of year again where we start getting ready for another fantastic season of culinary adventures! We’re reaching out to our wonderful community of supporters to invite you to join us as volunteers. Whether you’ve volunteered with us before or you’re considering it for the first time, we’d love to have you on board.

Our Volunteer Orientation is scheduled for Monday, March 4th, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about our program and how you can get involved. Classes will kick off on April 8th and run for six weeks, culminating in a wrap-up field trip on May 27th.

This season, we’re thrilled to introduce a brand new website where you can easily access the volunteer application. Even if you’ve volunteered with us in the past, we kindly ask that you fill out the application again to ensure we have all your up-to-date information.

Here’s a glimpse of our exciting schedule for this season:

– April 8: Lesson 1 – Sow & Grow

– April 15: Lesson 2 – Veggie Delights

– April 22: Lesson 3 – Garden to Table

– April 29: Lesson 4 – Buzzing with Spring

– May 6: Lesson 5 – Herb Heroes

– May 13: Lesson 6 – Indigenous Culinary Traditions

– May 27: Field Trip Finale

We’re seeking volunteers to help in the classroom, as well as with administrative tasks, marketing efforts, and fundraising initiatives. If you’re unable to commit to all seven lessons but still want to be part of the team, there are plenty of other ways to contribute.

Please visit chefsintheclassroom.com to fill out your volunteer application and join us in empowering young chefs to explore the joys of cooking and healthy eating.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to having you on board for another amazing season!
